about Fire and Mayhem

Fire: This is a very new blog/place to rant/way to let off steam. There are (so far) two contributors, here referred to as "fire" and "mayhem." I am choosing not to divulge the details about my identity for several reasons. For one, I do not want to compromise the well-being of the people I work with. The internet can introduce lots of opportunities for boundary crossings and unnecessary complications to the counseling situation. I am working as a counselor-in-training, so I want to keep my clients safe by not associating my name with this site. Because let's face it, most people google their therapist. If you met me in real life, you would not associate me with the pseudonym "fire," so I figure this will work out well.
